On behalf of the Canada Plastics Pact and its stakeholders, Viewpoints Research conducted an online survey with respondents in Ottawa in March 2025. The survey was designed by Viewpoints Research in consultation with the CPP and its stakeholders. This study aimed to better understand Ottawa residents’ behaviours around reuse. Results will inform reuse initiatives in the city and other urban centres across Canada.
This project aligns with CPP’s targets to eliminate problematic plastics, design for reusability and recyclability, increase recycling rates, and boost recycled content.
